VARD adds INS to research vessel

Raytheon Anschütz reports that it has won a contract with VARD Holding for the supply of a Synapsis Integrated Navigation System (INS) to a research vessel under construction at Cochin Shipyard.

Transas has signed a partnership agreement with Satcom Global to add integrated connectivity to THESIS, its unified platform for digital operations on ships and in shore-based offices, adding to another partnership deal agreed with JRC at the end of February.

Seabulk tug gets AlphaBridge

Alphatron Marine reports that it has delivered its AlphaBridge tugboat console system to the RT Trident, owned by Seabulk Towing of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
