Weather data added to ShipDC

ClassNK’s wholly owned database services subsidiary Ship Data Center (ShipDC) has agreed a deal to add marine weather information from the Japan Weather Association to its data store.

SMSGlobal reports that it will provide daily coverage of the UEFA Euro 2016 football championships and the 2016 Rio Olympics free of charge to customers of its CrewCommCenter satellite communications software.

MirTac reports that it has completed the implementation of the Star Fleet Management software system on board two new SeaZip vessels, SeaZip 5 and 6.
