Panama Canal launches mobile app

The Panama Canal has launched an application for mobile devices, allowing users to access live webcams, tide charts for the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and weather radar.

Costa Cruises today announced the launch of an application allowing its passengers to call and text one another and contact shipboard amenities for free.

BMT’s CargoHandbook goes mobile

BMT Surveys has launched an application which provides mobile access to its CargoHandbook database. The App is available as a free download for both Android and iOS users.

The Korean Register has obtained a patent on its ‘Smart Fleet’ app which was launched earlier this year.
