Denmark launches maritime cyber strategy

The Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs has launched a new sector-specific strategy for the shipping industry as part of the government’s more general national strategy for cyber and information security, with a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening IT security and preventing cyber threats in maritime.

Fleet Management Limited has agreed a deal with classification society ABS to implement a cyber security system based on the ABS FCI Cyber Risk model on Fleet Management’s 220-vessel liquid cargo fleet.

Navarino’s Angel gets CSO Alliance backing
