Fleet-wide ITC deal for Zeaborn Group

The Zeaborn Group has agreed a deal with Pronautas to supply a complete IT and communications system to all of the vessels in its fleet, including Sealink VSAT connectivity and the XChange platform from Marlink, dual ECDIS, and Pronautas’ ship-board virtualised client server system.

Consolidated Marine Management based in Greece has signed up all crew on its 23 vessels for type specific ECDIS Annual Competency Assurance Training (ACAT) on both Furuno and JRC equipment, to be carried out by ECDIS Ltd.

Wärtsilä has been awarded a contract to supply a range of integrated automation, navigation and dynamic positioning equipment to four new cruise ships, two under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, and two being built at Meyer Turku in Finland.

GNS integrates Voyager with Sperry ECDIS

Lake Express gets new JRC radar

JRC reports that it has installed the world’s smallest IMO compliant Solid State S-band radar with 8-ft antenna for the high speed car/passenger ferry Lake Express.

Radio Holland has completed two bridge refit contracts for Holland America Line on the cruise ships Oosterdam and Prinsendam, following on from similar refit work on M/S Noordam and Westerdam in 2014 and 2015.
