Flat panel satellite antenna company Phasor has announced a partnership with Harris CapRock Communications to develop an electronically-steerable antenna (ESA) terminal.

Panasonic Avionics Corporation and Kymeta Corporation have announced a new agreement to work together to bring flat panel antenna technology for VSAT communications to maritime markets.

Kymeta Corporation and Intelsat report that they have successfully completed initial testing of the mobility performance of Kymeta’s flat-panel antennas on Intelsat’s satellite network for maritime applications.

Intellian teams up with Kymeta

Intellian has announced that Kymeta’s flat-panel satellite antenna technology will be integrated into Intellian’s next generation of Ku-band maritime satellite terminals.

Intelsat and satellite antenna developer Kymeta Corporation have announced an agreement to design and produce flat, electronically steerable, Ku-band mTenna satellite antenna systems optimised for the Intelsat EpicNG high throughput satellite (HTS) platform.

Kymeta Corporation, which develops flat-panel antenna technologies based on metamaterials, has reported that it is closing a $20 million financing that includes existing investors Bill Gates and Lux Capital.

VSAT provider OmniAccess has partnered with US antenna manufacturer Phasor to launch what they claim is the world’s first maritime Ku-band digital phased array antenna.

Kymeta Corporation, which develops flat-panel antenna technologies based on metamaterials, has announced that it has successfully demonstrated bi-directional high-speed internet connectivity with a Ka-band satellite.
