Intellian has received type approval from Inmarsat for its new FB250 and Fleet One L-band terminals. This news makes it one of the first to market with user terminals for operation on Inmarsat’s L-band network, ELERA.

Danaos is working with Navarino on a major project to install Inmarsat Fleet Xpress (FX) across its fleet of 69 vessels, using Sailor 100 GX terminals.

Kyklades Maritime is using a combination of Fleet Xpress and Infinity plus from Navarino, as well as other autonomous technologies that connect over satellite with land-based facilities, to enhance the efficiency of its operations and expand its options for business applications.

Tanker owner expands Inmarsat Fleet Xpress deal

Chemical and crude oil tanker owner Navigazione Montanari has expanded its agreement with Inmarsat to roll out Fleet Xpress to its entire fleet.

Shipowner and management company Döhle Group has partnered with Navarino in a major technology and connectivity project that will see Inmarsat Fleet Xpress (FX) and Infinity rolled out on more than 100 vessels.

Inmarsat has expanded its agreement to deliver maritime broadband to Hapag-Lloyd, after the global transport group renewed its Fleet Xpress contract for a further five years and committed 33 more ships to the market’s leading very small aperture terminal (VSAT) service.

Lloyd’s Register (LR) and Inmarsat have announced an industry-first collaboration between a satellite communications provider and classification society to provide a connectivity solution that will address challenges experienced during remote surveys.

Inmarsat Maritime Ventures, a subsidiary of Inmarsat, has signed an agreement with SRH Connect (SRH) for SRH to acquire Inmarsat’s FleetBroadband customer base in Greece and Cyprus.

Evitalz and Inmarsat have signed an agreement for Evitalz to join the fast-growing group of certified application providers to offer a dedicated application for Inmarsat’s Fleet Connect service.

Marlink has been selected by Turkish tanker operator Güngen Denizcilik ve Ticaret A/Ş (Gungen Maritime & Trading) to provide Inmarsat’s Fleet Xpress service on four of its six vessels.
