C-Bird trialled in Germany

A ship management company in Germany is to begin a trial of the C-Bird VSAT system from Maritime Broadband, following a recent agreement.

German maritime technology provider Pro Nautas reports that it has significantly expanded its customer base in Germany and the Netherlands, having agreed contracts to supply 112 vessels in the last 12 months.

Raytheon Anschütz has announced that it has been selected by German shipowner NSC to supply its Synapsis INS (Integrated Navigation System) to a series of containership newbuildings.
