BASS catch in Indonesia

Indonesia-based logistics and shipping company, PT Pelita Samudera Shipping (PT PSS) is to install the BASSnet software package to assist in managing its operations.

Transas Marine reports that it has installed a set of marine simulators at the BP2IP Tangerang Merchant Marine School in Indonesia, in cooperation with PT Multiintegra, its distributor in the country.

The Marine Electronic Highway (MEH) Information Technology System for the Straits of Malacca and Singapore, which had been managed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), has been handed over to the Government of Indonesia.
