MAN PrimeServ, MAN Energy Solutions’ after-sales division, has announced a new digital addition to its retrofit portfolio. Called ‘MAN EngineVault’, the new initiative prepares shipowners for developments within the increasingly important area of marine cybersecurity. In connection with this, the IMO, SIRE and SOLAS are all set to introduce guidelines from January 1, 2021 that will require operators to address the issue.

MAN Energy Solutions has announced a partnership with eProcurement marketplace Kinnetik Solutions for the full-term integration on the KinnetikSupplier network.
Under the agreement, MAN Energy Solutions will fully integrate to Kinnetik Solutions' eProcurement platform for shipping companies. KinnetikSupplier empowers the company's service centres network by automating and simplifying the regular procurement processes. In addition, the company's solutions are promoted to the network of shipping companies already onboard Kinnetik Solutions' eProcurement marketplace.

KONGSBERG and MAN Energy Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the potential for collaboration on a common data infrastructure for the maritime sector.

MAN Energy Solutions has integrated with the web-based electronic procurement platform MESPAS Connect to enable faster, easier and more efficient purchasing from one online marketplace.
MAN Energy Solutions, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) and HSD Engine (HSD) have agreed to cooperate in the field of marine engine systems digitisation.
The companies will define a framework for a future long-term strategic digital cooperation in the areas of marine engine solutions and auxiliary systems data, the collection and analysis of the data and the integration of it with smart ship platforms and intelligent diagnostic solutions.

Furthermore, we will also continue our role as a pioneer engine manufacturer in the field of smart ship in order to serve our customers a real-time monitoring service with remote supports through the advanced engine diagnosis technology and it will consequently give us safer and more economical engine operation accordingly.”
MAN Energy Solutions’ new digital platform, MAN CEON, will play a part in the companies’ transition to digital operations. The solution collects and evaluates operating and sensor data and enables the real-time monitoring of marine and power-plant engines, turbines and compressors.
