4G broadband for IFCA vessels

Buzz Marine is supplying its HubbaX4 Go marine broadband systems to five vessels from the UK’s Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (IFCA), providing the ships with 4G connectivity while at sea.

iDirect Asia is partnering with Singapore-based ST Teleport on a new vessel-location tracking and network-monitoring platform called Nautical.

Panasonic to acquire ITC Global

Panasonic has reported that it has entered into an agreement to acquire ITC Global, a satcom provider that serves the energy, mining and maritime markets, and which has been owned by Boston-based private equity firm, Riverside Partners, since 2011.

Maritime Broadband raises funds
