Telenor Satellite and Cobham have signed an agreement for the supply of SAILOR Ka-band antenna systems to the satellite operator, to be provided to customers of Telenor’s latest generation Ka-band High Throughput Satellite (HTS) service, THOR 7.
Intellian Technologies is set to introduce a new 65cm Ku/Ka-band convertible satellite communications system, called the v65, that will allow users to access both the Ku-band and Ka-band frequencies on the same antenna, similar to the company’s v100 1-metre unit but on smaller, lighter equipment.
Inmarsat has signed a service and installation agreement with Radio Holland to support migration of customers from Ku-based XpressLink to Fleet Xpress services.
