NAPA to offer Tidetech current data

Tidetech has announced that it has reached an agreement with NAPA to supply the Finnish software house with tidal current prediction data for ship optimisation, initially for South East Asia and UK–Europe.

Japanese classification society ClassNK and Finnish software company NAPA have announced that Taiwan-based Wan Hai Lines has chosen their ship efficiency software for use on a recently delivered containership.

ClassNK begins ship efficiency project

ClassNK reports that it has started full scale ship tests to develop a feedback scheme on the impact of ship design on vessel performance in actual sea conditions.

ClassNK and software provider NAPA have announced a collaboration agreement to provide a package for companies looking to implement a Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP).

AET has ordered the NAPA-DSME Power software system for installation on four newbuild 319,000 deadweight tonne (DWT) VLCC vessels.
