NSSLGlobal has unveiled the latest addition to its maritime portfolio, FusionIP-LITE, allowing users to switch between cellular and satcom networks to ensure “always-on” connectivity with speeds of up to 40mbps.

Teekay and NSSLGlobal have announced a four-year, multi-million enhanced contract to roll out enhanced communication and entertainment services on more than 100 vessels across Teekay’s fleet.

NSSLGlobal completes Station 711 takeover

NSSLGlobal has completed the acquisition of the assets and activities of Station 711, a business unit controlled by SES subsidiary MX1 focussed on communication systems for the maritime market.

German-based ship management company Hermann Lohmann Bereederungen (HLB) has signed a deal with NSSLGlobal to replace its legacy VSAT systems with NSSLGlobal’s FusionIP service, integrating both VSAT and 3G/4G cellular connectivity.

Maritime satcom provider NSSLGlobal has launched Cruise Control+, a new virtual platform designed to integrate management of all aspects of voice and data communications, as well as IT services, on board vessels.

VSAT deal for Vertom-Bojen

Germany-based Vertom-Bojen has agreed a new deal with NSSLGlobal to roll out VSAT services across its globally-trading fleet, the companies report.

NSSLGlobal reports that it has acquired 100 per cent of the shares in Marine Electronics Solutions Ltd (trading as UK Electronic Solutions), a specialist in installation, maintenance, supply and development of communication and navigation systems.

NSSLGlobal acquires SatLink

NSSLGlobal Technologies, a fully owned subsidiary of NSSLGlobal, reports that it has acquired the range of communications technologies developed by SatLink, taking full ownership of SatLink’s VSAT modem and Hub product families while also retaining SatLink’s software engineering team.
