Oldendorff engages Sea IT for project rollout

Oldendorff Carriers, one of the world's largest dry bulk shipping companies, has signed a new strategic agreement with Swedish company Sea IT to manage ICT installations on approximately 80 vessels, followed by a three-year service contract.

Leading global dry bulk operator Oldendorff Carriers has agreed a deal to implement a new IT and communications package across 70 owned vessels in its fleet, incorporating Fleet Xpress and the Infinity Cube system developed by maritime technology services provider Navarino.

Oldendorff Carriers has reached an agreement with BMT SMART, a subsidiary of BMT Group, to roll out the SMARTFLEET fleet performance management platform along with a vessel data collection system to drive improved efficiency in the operation of Oldendorff’s ships.
