Software as a Service (SaaS) technology provider to the maritime industry, Q88 LLC has opened a new office dedicated to expanding the software development department in Kraków, Poland.
Maritime software company Q88 reports that it has made a “substantial investment” in US-headquartered iMarine Software, the provider of the Cloud-based Seaproc e-procurement platform for the shipping industry.
Q88 has announced the completion of an integration project to connect its software platform with the ClearLynx bunker procurement application, to allow customers to create requisitions in ClearLynx automatically from Q88’s Cloud-based voyage management system, Q88VMS.

Ship management company Synergy Marine Group has selected Q88’s voyage management solution, Q88VMS, to support the company’s commercial operations delivered through Synergy Marine Commercial Management.
Q88 reports that it has added a new Voyage Estimator module on Q88.com.
Q88 has agreed a partnership with Ship & Bunker, enabling users of Q88VMS – Q88’s Cloud-based voyage management system – to access Ship & Bunker’s independently sourced bunker price data from within the application.
The Questionnaire 88 (Q88), first issued in 1988 by INTERTANKO, has been revised for a new version 4 release, which includes the most up-to-date information for assessing vessel suitability and risk when chartering tankers.
