Safebridge expands CBT range

Maritime training technology company Safebridge has launched two new products, a Competence Assessment Tool (CAT) to catalogue crew skills, and Safeyacht, a chartplotter training system for the leisure market.

Safebridge adds German flag training

Safebridge has released its latest course, relating to German maritime legislation for captains from EU countries who are in command of a German flagged vessel.

ECDIS e-learning company Safebridge reports that it has completed a Basic ECDIS Training course for the Port State Control of Germany, provided to inspection officers from the BG Verkehr, the Authority responsible for conducting Port State inspections on vessels visiting German ports.

Safebridge has announced the launch of its new type specific ECDIS training course for the Simrad E5024.

Videotel has partnered with ECDIS training company Safebridge to provide a new service for certification of seafarers in ECDIS type-specific training while serving onboard ship.

ChartWorld has launched its eGlobe G2 training programme, to train mariners on the use of its ECDIS technology.

New offline ECDIS training at sea

ECDIS manufacturer Martek Marine has teamed up with ECDIS training provider Safebridge to deliver onboard type-specific ECDIS training without the need for internet connectivity.
