Seagull Maritime joins Benefit Software

Seagull Maritime has joined Benefit Software, making it the latest member to join the company’s integrated framework for crew-management and training tools.

Industry veteran Manish Singh has joined the maritime knowledge services group as CEO, with Roger Ringstad assuming role of executive chairman.

As a direct response to the joint ownership and new collaboration between Seagull and Videotel, Seagull is offering a new and free training title on Seafarers Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Following the acquisition by Oakley Capital of Seagull and Videotel, the group has announced a commitment to invest more than $30 million over the next 5 years in new courseware and technology.

Seagull and SOFTimpact integrate systems

Maritime training provider Seagull has collaborated with IT company SOFTimpact to develop a web interface between their respective software systems, integrating the ‘CREWimpact’ crewing application with the Seagull Training Administrator (STA).

Marlink and Seagull Maritime have partnered to develop a satcom-enabled online environment for the distribution and updating of e-learning material for ships at sea, with the aim of automating content management on board.

Adonis software integrated with Seagull

Norwegian software company Adonis reports that it has added integration between its Adonis Personnel Manager and the computer based training systems provided by Seagull, following the launch of a new add-on module.

Shipping company Vroon has signed a fleetwide agreement with training provider Seagull Maritime, to implement a range of training systems across its fleet as well as for shore based personnel.

Asia Maritime Pacific rolls out e-Learning

Asia-based dry bulk shipping company Asia Maritime Pacific (AMP) has agreed a deal with Seagull Maritime to roll out onboard e-Learning training systems across its fleet of more than 40 Handysize and minibulker vessels.
