NaviPlanner adds port data

The NaviPlanner system from Nautisk is to be improved with the inclusion of better port data following a new partnership with Shipping Guides Ltd.

Hamburg-based software company Hanseaticsoft has reached an agreement with searoutes.com to import data from the nautical navigation data provider into the Hanseaticsoft CFM Charter software module.

GNS updates VOYAGER

GNS has released an upgrade to its VOYAGER navigation system, with additional functionality as well as new hardware and software subscription options.

Nautisk has confirmed that it will offer electronic navigational charts (ENCs) free of charge to customers purchasing a new digital voyage planning package consisting of its NaviPlanner and NaviTab services.

C-MAP has launched its new Integrated Maritime Suite (IMS), an onboard application platform that employs machine learning and customised ship performance models to support voyage optimisation.

GNS partners with SEALL on touchscreen ECDIS

GNS has announced a strategic partnership with SEALL ECDIS Limited, which will see the companies work together in the development of a touchscreen ECDIS system that can integrate with GNS’ back of bridge software.

ABB reports that its OCTOPUS marine software is to be applied on four new semi-submersible heavy lift vessels, to assist in operational efficiency using weather and loading data to plot optimal routes.

British ferry company P&O Ferries, an operator of ferries sailing from the UK to Ireland and Continental Europe, has selected GNS to provide navigation products and services for its fleet of 15 vessels.
