GNS launches Voyager 7

Global Navigation Solutions (GNS) has launched a new version of Voyager, its navigation software solution, with Voyager 7 representing a fundamental rebuild of the software in comparison with earlier versions.

Weather data company MeteoGroup reports that it has developed its own new tidal currents model for integration into its SPOS Onboard and RouteGuard services.

Port data integration from Transas

Transas has partnered with Shipping Guides Ltd to incorporate port data into its Navi-Planner 4000 voyage planning solution.

German software provider Hanseaticsoft reports that its Cloud Fleet Manager product will now feature integration with the Findaport.com database, operated by Shipping Guides Ltd.

Ericsson has announced the introduction of Maritime ICT Cloud, an ‘end-to-end’ integrated cloud solution designed to facilitate voyage optimisation, cargo monitoring and crew welfare.
