Navi-Planner on touchscreen

Transas has launched a touchscreen display version of its Navi-Planner 4000.

A US research initiative has released the web-based version of its Geospatial Intermodal Freight Transportation Model (GIFT), a tool which allows companies to evaluate the economic costs and greenhouse gas emissions associated with moving goods by rail, road and sea.

AWT launches Voyage Calculator

Applied Weather Technology (AWT) today announced the debut of its Voyage Calculator program, which calculates the distance and corresponding cost of a voyage from one port to another, taking into account weather, ocean currents, hire rate and other factors.
