AWT launches Voyage Calculator

Applied Weather Technology (AWT) today announced the debut of its Voyage Calculator program, which calculates the distance and corresponding cost of a voyage from one port to another, taking into account weather, ocean currents, hire rate and other factors.

AXSMarine reports that it has made a major upgrade to the applications within its AXSDry 4.0 software package.

Voyager Planning Station upgraded

Global Navigation Solutions (GNS) has announced that users of its Voyager Planning Station can now plot their route directly onto the official ENCs on board their vessel.

Jeppesen has developed NauticalManager, a software allowing mariners to plan, generate, and document routes using an ECDIS and onboard PC.
