AWT launches BVS 7.0

Applied Weather Technology (AWT) has released a new version of its Bon Voyage (BVS) marine voyage optimisation system, BVS Version 7.0, featuring a number of new developments intended to help vessels find safer and more fuel-efficient routes.

Anti-sloshing software for LNG carriers

Software developer Amarcon has signed a cooperation agreement with engineering company GTT to market and further develop a forecasting and advice software system for sloshing prevention on board LNG carriers.

Interschalt Maritime Systems has developed a software that aims to assist vessel operators in keeping trim at the optimum level, and consequently saving fuel.
