Transport and logistics specialist Inlecom Systems has reported the launch of i-Ship, a new software application that the company claims will speed up ship reporting processes with European and International maritime and custom authorities.

eMAR, a marine transport project part-funded by the EU, has announced the completion of its e-Maritime Strategic Framework (EMSF), which has been designed to enhance IT-based cooperation in the maritime sector.

Inlecom and DANAOS have announced that their e-Maritime compatible collaboration platforms enabling interoperability in shipping software solutions are now available commercially as beta versions, following successful trials with eMAR partners including DNV and Port of Valencia.

The eMar project has announced its aim to develop a range of pilot tools in the coming months in order to facilitate daily transactions between maritime agencies and governmental / administrative services throughout the EU.
