Airbus announces ocean monitoring service

Airbus Defence and Space has launched a new service called Ocean Finder, offering satellite-based detection and identification reports for assets at sea.

UK-based Marine Software Ltd reports that it has recently completed the delivery of its MPMWin - Marine Planned Maintenance software system to a series of Seacor Marine newbuild vessels.

The Nautical Institute has made a set of new online skills training courses available free of charge to its members, developed in collaboration with KVH Videotel, with topics including risk assessment at sea, marine environmental awareness, ECDIS and crisis management.

Port of Rotterdam joins blockchain pilot
