Internet weather data from NOAA

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has launched a new internet portal, offering marine weather forecasts and real-time coastal wind and water condition information for the south east United States.

Flinter, the fifth largest maritime shipping company in the Netherlands, has chosen to install a system by Quintiq, and implementation partner The Logic Factory, to provide a planning and optimisation solution for crew and voyage planning.

DNV approval for Kongsberg simulators
