Inmarsat buys Stratos

Inmarsat has confirmed that it has completed the acquisition of Stratos Global Corporation, its largest distribution partner, under the terms of a call option originally negotiated in the first quarter of 2007 with Canadian investment company Communications Investment Partners (CIP).

UKHO reaches ENC agreement with China

The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) has signed an agreement with the Chinese MSA to licence official chart data from the Chinese government for inclusion within its Admiralty Vector Chart Service (AVCS).
