VSTEP to work with CAE

Dutch simulation company VSTEP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CAE, to work together on simulation projects worldwide.

With the signing of the MOU, VSTEP and CAE intend to combine their expertise to develop integrated simulation-based solutions for a number of market segments, including maritime.

CAE already offers simulation products and software tools and this will be added to VSTEP’s experience in the field of maritime simulators, incident management simulators and camera operator training simulators.

“Since our DNV Class A certification last year, we have seen a significant increase in the number and size of the projects we are asked to deliver for maritime simulators, in addition to emergency response and Homeland Security products solutions,” said Pjotr van Schothorst, director of VSTEP.

“CAE, with its enormous experience delivering large and complex simulation programs all over the world, is the ideal partner for us. We are looking forward to working with CAE on these new and challenging projects.”
