All ships will be upgraded to the latest version of the Transas Navi-Sailor ECDIS Multifunction Display in dual configuration, using official charts. This will enable paperless navigation across the fleet.
Over the coming months, 68 existing tankers will be equipped with the Transas ECDIS, with installations on new builds starting from 2016. Since 2000, Transas has completed more than 200 dual ECDIS installations for Maersk.
