Wagenborg takes delivery of new AlphaBridge

Alphatron Marine reports that it has completed the delivery of its AlphaBridge navigation system to the vessel Egbert Wagenborg, a multi-purpose open-top ice strengthened vessel, named after the company’s founder.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}The AlphaBridge includes four 46-inch screens configured for remote support and featuring an onboard information system. The system delivered to the Egbert Wagenborg includes JRC’s latest multi-function radar, ECDIS and conning, which are all operated from the four screens.

An alarm system and CCTV integration has additionally been included, allowing alerts and video to be displayed both on board and back on shore, while the voyage data recorder (VDR) is configured to be able to connect to the JRC Remote Maintenance System (RMS) via the J-Marine Cloud web platform for preventive maintenance.

The consoles were made by Eekels Technology, under licence from Alphatron using the AlphaBridge design.{/mprestriction}
