ComNav launches P4 Autopilot

ComNav has introduced the P4, the latest addition to its autopilot solutions.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}The P4 has a 5.7” VGA colour screen, an industrial grade encoder switch and large course change knob for commercial work and fishing vessels. The P4 also has a navigation mode to track a waypoint or route.

With the versatility of additional P4 displays and remote controllers (either tiller control or joystick control) the system offers full autopilot functionality, with multiple stations in strategic locations.

The P4 is can be used on vessels ranging from 10 meters to 300 meters (up to 10,000 GWT).

It is fully compatible with existing NMEA 2000 or NMEA 0183 equipment on board and is rated at IP67.

The menu also allows for quick set-up with Intelligent Steering Technology (IST), which continuously updates the autopilot’s parameters for improved course handling. Its proportional motor control function helps smooth course changes and dodge functions. {/mprestriction}
