AD Ports Group’s Noatum Maritime has launched the Milahi Centre, an in-house platform that brings real-time vessel monitoring, operational data and AI-driven analytics together across a fleet of 325 vessels and 60,000 containers worldwide.
Developed in Abu Dhabi, the centre is designed to give ship management teams a single view of fleet activity while helping them monitor vessel performance, optimise routes and reduce fuel consumption. AD Ports Group expects the platform to generate cost savings of up to AED 100 million a year or roughly USD 27 million.
Sasi Prabhakaran, Director Maritime Assets at AD Ports Group, said Milahi provides “a 360-degree view of our entire fleet”.
“We track every vessel in real time, monitor performance, optimize routes, and use data analytics to reduce fuel consumption,” he said. “The center integrates information from all our verticals, enabling safer, smarter, and more efficient operations.”
The platform brings together operational information from across Noatum Maritime’s activities, giving teams access to fleet data alongside safety, risk and market information. That creates a wider operating picture than vessel monitoring alone, with the potential to support decisions at both ship and fleet level.
Capt. Porus Pervez, Advisor at AD Ports Group, said the centre turns operational data into “AI-driven predictive insights”.

Capt. Salem Al Menhali, General Manager, Marine Services at AD Ports Group, said the system also provides “safety and risk advisory, global situational awareness, and market intelligence” to help teams make faster decisions.
Fuel efficiency is one of the practical applications. By combining real-time vessel information with route and performance data, the platform gives fleet teams a way to identify operational changes that could reduce fuel consumption. This also links digital fleet management directly to emissions management, since lower fuel use can reduce the emissions associated with vessel operations.
Yousef Al Riyami, Chief Technology Officer at AD Ports Group, described Milahi as “our maritime knowledge hub”, bringing asset-related information into one system.
The approach places data consolidation alongside AI analytics as part of fleet management, with the centre intended to support operational, safety and environmental decisions across a large and geographically distributed fleet.
