Insurwave relaunch puts 24/7 risk intelligence in fleet owners’ hands

Insurwave has relaunched its risk platform with four modules designed to give fleet owners a live view of assets, insurance cover and changing exposure. The system combines AI, live risk data and specialist intelligence, bringing insurance management further into the digital workflow of shipowners and fleet managers.

The London-based company said the updated platform brings insurers, brokers and fleet owners onto one system, with four modules covering marine and aviation. Two are available now, Track & Cover and Risk Intelligence, while Portfolio Impact Analysis and Continuous Intelligence are due later this year.

Track & Cover gives fleet owners a live view of each asset and its insurance cover, with additional premiums quoted through the platform. Risk Intelligence uses live analysis and historical data from specialist providers to turn an insurance submission into a risk score.

The two forthcoming modules take the platform further into fleet-level exposure management. Portfolio Impact Analysis will allow users to assess how an individual risk affects aggregate exposure, while Continuous Intelligence will re-score bound business as events and risk conditions change.

Adrian Morgan, CEO of Insurwave, said the insurance process still relies heavily on static information. “Risk does not stand still. Assets move, airspace closes, conflict zones shift, and sanctions change, yet much of the insurance market still relies on point-in-time models, reports and spreadsheets.”

The platform also brings data security into its digital architecture. Insurwave said customer responses generated through its AI tools run inside each customer’s isolated, ISO 27001-certified cloud environment. Customer data is not pooled with other customers or used to train third-party AI models.

Insurwave said it is trusted by more than 70 organisations across insurance, marine and aviation, with specialist data from Lloyd’s List Intelligence, Osprey Flight Solutions and Flightradar24 incorporated into its intelligence layer.
