Norwegian marine geophysical company PGS has extended its non-exclusive service agreement with Radio Holland for navigation and communication services onboard nine seismic vessels in its global fleet.

{mprestriction ids="1,2"}Radio Holland Norway has already worked with two PGS vessels, Ramform Atlas and Ramform Titan, under a previous service agreement for several years. Under the new four-year deal  Radio Holland will service all nine vessels in the fleet under a Preventive Maintenance Contract (PMA).

The PMA covers overhauls, maintenance, detailed technical reporting and advice based on reports gathered from the onboard navigation and communication equipment. It also includes mandatory GMDSS surveys for the safety equipment (Radio, EPIRB and AIS).

“We are pleased that PGS has trusted us with a dedicated service agreement, and we are proud to work closely with such a professional and safety-minded client,” said Eirik Røyter, commercial manager of Radio Holland Norway.

“The vessels owned and operated by PGS are state-of-the-art and vessel availability is of the essence. By improving the reliability of onboard equipment unplanned maintenance and unexpected costs will be reduced. At Radio Holland we aim to offer PGS complete peace of mind, knowing that we will take care of all mandatory NavCom requirements.”{/mprestriction}
