On January 24 at 10am EST, SpaceX launched 10 Starlink satellites and 133 commercial and government spacecraft, achieving the highest number of spacecraft ever deployed on a single mission.

Falcon 9 launched Transporter-1, SpaceX’s first dedicated SmallSat Rideshare Program mission, from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The 10 Starlink satellites onboard were also equipped with laser links, which eliminate the need for ground stations, and will deploy a polar orbit.

Elon Musk confirmed that all future satellites will also be equipped with the laser link technology.
