GTT Marine and Normec Verifavia have integrated Vesper Insights with Verifavia’s emissions verification dashboard, creating an automated data pipeline between vessel performance data and compliance verification. The system is designed to reduce manual reporting work while giving shipowners continuous visibility across EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, MRV, IMO DCS and CII requirements.
GTT Marine and Normec Verifavia have integrated their digital platforms to automate the transfer of vessel performance, voyage and emissions data into Verifavia’s emissions verification dashboard.
The integration connects GTT Marine’s Vesper Insights with Normec Verifavia’s verification system, removing manual file exchanges between the two platforms. The companies said the direct data pipeline is intended to improve consistency across reporting and give ship operators ongoing visibility into their compliance data.
For shipowners and managers, the practical issue is data handling. Emissions compliance can involve information from vessel performance systems, voyage records and reporting platforms, creating additional work when data has to be transferred between separate systems.
The integrated system is designed to support compliance under EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, EU and UK MRV, IMO DCS and CII requirements. It also supports fuel pathways including Bio-LNG and other low-carbon fuels, according to the companies.
Rajat Bishnoi, Business Unit Director, Shipping Emissions & Performance, Normec Verifavia, said the integration gives operators access to operational data throughout the reporting process.
“As emissions reporting requirements continue to evolve, ship-owners need greater visibility, accuracy and efficiency across the compliance process,” Bishnoi said. “By integrating directly with GTT Marine’s digital ecosystem, we can provide continuous verification supported by high-quality operational data, enabling customers to identify potential issues earlier and manage their compliance obligations more effectively.”
Christian Treu, VP Revenue, GTT Marine, said fragmented systems can create additional work for operators.
“Ship-owners do not have a data problem; they have a fragmentation problem,” Treu said. “Every disconnected system in the compliance chain creates additional complexity, manual work and risk. Connecting Vesper Insights directly to Normec Verifavia’s verification dashboard removes unnecessary handovers and gives operators a more seamless path from vessel data to regulatory compliance.”
The companies said the integrated system is already supporting multiple mutual customers across different fleet segments.
The broader implication for fleet management is that emissions compliance can be incorporated into the same digital workflow as vessel performance and voyage data. Rather than treating verification as a separate reporting exercise, shipowners can use a connected data pipeline to maintain compliance information throughout the reporting year.
