Latvian Shipping Company (LSC) Shipmanagement has begun the roll out of DNV GL’s package of fleet management software applications across its fleet of 26 handysize and medium range tankers, as part of an ongoing project to optimise operations.

“One of the key factors in this decision was DNV GL’s professional project approach for implementation and delivery of the software solutions,” said Mikkjal Poulsen, managing director at LSC Shipmanagement. “Now we have one software supplier and a trusted partner.”

DNV GL says that the LSC fleet will join more than 6,000 vessels using its ShipManager and Navigator software systems following the implementation.{/mprestriction}
