e-Learning training company OneLearn Global has secured DNV accreditation.

The Cyprus-headquartered company recently secured 'ISO 9001:2015 – Maritime Training Providers' for developing, delivering, and evaluating learning programmes that are properly designed and have clear objectives.

To gain the certification, OneLearn Global has also worked with qualified subject matter experts and instructors on developing its training programmes and improving courses in line with market demand and experience.

An initial audit was carried out by DNV to assess OneLearn Global’s management system and documents related to its policies and objectives.

Documentation with the description and mapping of the company’s core and support processes were also reviewed, along with the procedures for learning programme development and maintenance.

“Gaining this accreditation demonstrates our immense credibility and ever-growing reputation as a digital maritime training provider that runs courses for cadets and younger generations of seafarers entering the industry, through to seasoned crew members with many years’ experience,” said Nigel Cleave, senior advisor at OneLearn Global.

“We are responsible for the paradigm shift in how maritime training is delivered, having introduced a state-of-the-art learning management system featuring interactive, visually stimulating and informative courses that cover the whole spectrum of seafarer-related topics. Being recognised by DNV is testament to the incredible contribution that everyone at OneLearn Global has made to establish this company as a market leader.”
