Spinergie has launched a logistics and marine coordination platform for offshore wind and oil and gas operators, bringing personnel, cargo, vessel and helicopter planning into a single digital workflow.
The Paris-based maritime technology company said the new software was developed after repeated requests from existing customers that wanted logistics management alongside the operational tools they already use. The system is designed to give control rooms, contractors, crews and HSE teams a shared view of offshore movements and personnel readiness.
The platform covers three main areas. Personnel management handles role qualifications, document synchronisation, site inductions and readiness checks before people are added to manifests. Transport planning allows operators to schedule vessel and helicopter movements for personnel, cargo and work activities while checking constraints such as SIMOPs, asset restrictions and personnel certifications.
Once plans are validated, they are distributed to relevant stakeholders. Live manifesting and tracking then give coordinators, contractors and QHSE teams visibility of personnel locations and status.
The approach brings logistics into the same digital environment as offshore operations, reducing the need to coordinate information across separate systems. For offshore asset managers, this can give teams a more consistent view of who is travelling, how they are travelling and whether they are ready to access an asset.
“Our customers asked us to enter this market as they were looking for a partner that could help them better plan the work across air and sea, not just the passengers and the cargo,” said Jean Cristofari, Spinergie Co-Founder and CEO.
“Logistics was the rational next step in the development of our maritime platform. We are bringing our clients a fully integrated end-to-end solution from planning, through monitoring operations, to analysis and improvement.”
Spinergie said the logistics system has already been deployed with offshore wind and oil and gas operators.
The company plans to add route planning and weather operability to the logistics workflow. “Our next product focus will be to bring route planning and weather operability into the logistics workflow to further help our clients optimise their operations,” said Louis Jozon, Spinergie Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer.
Founded in 2016, Spinergie serves around 150 clients worldwide with a team of about 70 people across Paris, London, Austin and Singapore.
The move brings another layer of operational activity into digital fleet management, with logistics data connected directly to planning, execution and post-operation analysis.
