NYK and DNV GL have presented the first results of an ongoing maritime data centre pilot project involving the companies, which collects operational data from NYK vessels on DNV GL’s recently launched Veracity data platform to monitor vessel performance and support condition-based maintenance.

NAPA has introduced a new web-based ship performance monitoring service called NAPA Fleet Intelligence, providing voyage-by-voyage analysis of fuel efficiency for conventionally powered vessels dating back as far as January 2015.
C-MAP has launched its new Integrated Maritime Suite (IMS), an onboard application platform that employs machine learning and customised ship performance models to support voyage optimisation.
